ANH NGUYEN (Master in Business Engineering, ULg, Belgium, Adjunct Professor of Finance at ICHEC Management School)
Anh Nguyen (Master in Business Engineering, ULg, Belgium) is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at ICHEC Management School where he holds courses of Introduction to Finance and of Corporate Finance.
He has also given numerous finance courses for students and at the level of executive education. He teaches CFA preparatory courses in Belgium. He covered numerous topics among which Ethics, Economics, Equity Investments, Corporate Finance and Portfolio Management.
He is also the Academic Director for the International Finance program at JM Corporate University, a private business school in Belgium where he teaches Derivatives and Financial Risk Management.
Anh is also a quantitative equity portfolio manager at Dexia Asset Management. There, as part of a team, he manages equity portfolios worth up to more than 5 billion USD. He has a deep knowledge of portfolio management, alpha generation, equity investment and quantitative techniques of risk management.
His main domains of research are the equity market modeling, the portfolio management and the behavioral finance.
Equity market modelling, quantitative techniques, corporate financial management, investment and financing decision, portfolio management are his specialties.

HA HOANG (Master of Commerce in Applied Finance)
Ha is the holder of Master of Commerce in Applied Finance of the University of Queensland, Australia. She has intensive experience in banking industry in different departments in ANZ Bank. She also has more than five years experience in general management.
She passed CFA level 1 and level 2 exams at the first attempt. Derivatives are the topics that she achieved high marks in her CFA Level 1 and Level 2 exams.
Students enjoy her classes because of simple approach, diagrams and summaries that she uses in her lecture. These help students easily remember the topic and apply them into solving questions quickly.
Ha usually explains difficult topics in simple ways. She also shares with students study strategies to prepare well for the exams given the heavy workload.
HAI NGUYEN (CFA, Master of Finance & Banking)
Hai is currently Fixed Income Director at Manulife Asset Management (Vietnam) and responsible formanaging several funds with total asset under management ofnearly US$300 million. Prior to this, he worked over five years in Vietcombank Securities where he took up various responsibilities ranging from corporate finance associate, investment officer and finally head of research.
Hai holds a degree of Master in Banking and Finance (with distinction) from Ghent University in Belgium. Prior to that, he obtained dual degrees in Interpretation and business administration from Hanoi National University. He passed CFA level 3 examination in Jun 2010 and became CFA charter since 2010.
Hai is recognized for his guidance and coaching skills. In fact, as the Head of Research at Vietcombank Securities, he coached and led a research team of 14 research analysts to success.

HANH PHUNG (Master of Finance & Banking; Passed CFA Level 3 exam in June 2014)
Phung Huu Hanh has many years experience in banking industry and equity research. He took up various positions at ACB, Vietinbank and VDSC. He has also been a university lecturer focusing on subjects like corporate finance, banking and financial markets.
Hanh graduated with a B.A degree (with distinction) in Corporate Finance from University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City in 2004. He then received a degree of Master in Banking and Finance and is currently a Ph.D student there. He passed CFA Level 3 exam in June 2014.
With his practical experience and good explanation skill, he will help CFA candidates master the key areas needed for the exam as well as efficient study strategies.
HOA PHAN (CFA, MBA)
Mr Hoa Phan, CFA has more than 10 years of diversified experience in business trading, financial auditing, fund/investment management, equity research and private equity. He is a CFA Charter holder since 2007.
His current role is in Temasek Holdings (Singapore office) as Associate Director for investments in Consumer & Real Estate globally. Prior to that, he spent 3 years in Singapore in the Telecoms, Infrastructure and Consumer sectors in Asia Pacific from 2005-2007, and posted back to Vietnam Representative Office of Temasek for 4 years (2008-2011). Previous companies that Hòa had worked in include Itochu Corporation, Arthur Andersen (Vietnam) and VietFund Management.
Mr Hoa Phan received his MBA, major in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.
Mr Hoa Phan was a CFA programme Lecturer in Vietnam and Brunei in 2010, specialising in Financial Statements Analysis, Quantitative Analysis and Equities.
Given Hoa’s intensive international experience in investment, CFA candidates will gain insight into equity valuation in theory and in practice by attending his lectures.
HUA CHIA YEE (FCCA, CFA)
Hua is a CFA Charterholder and a Fellow Member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA). He is presently the Managing Director of Phoenix Capital Corporation, a private equity firm specializing in investment banking and asset management based in Vietnam. Prior to joining Phoenix, he was the General Manager, Corporate Planning of KBB Resources Berhad, a vermicelli manufacturer listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia for 5 years. He also has 7 years of experience in merchant banking specialising in corporate finance with RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Berhad.
He also consults in mergers and acquisitions for companies in Asia and the Middle East since 2003.
Prior to taking up the above appointments, Mr. Hua has 7 years of experience in merchant banking specialising in corporate finance with RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Berhad. As a merchant banker, Mr. Hua has provided corporate advisory services and formulated fund raising proposals.

He is a Facilitator of the CFP programme for KDU Management Development Centre Sdn Bhd since 2003, specialising in Investment Planning and Financial Plan Construction.

THANH NGUYEN (MBA, MSc, Completed CFA level 3 exam in Jun 2012)
Mr. Thanh Nguyen graduated from the MBA program of Baylor University, Texas, USA in December 2010. He also had a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, USA. Both of his degrees were fully funded through the scholarships awarded for his excellence in academic achievements and solid industry experiences.
He passed all three levels of the CFA exams on first attempts and received scholarship from the CFA Society in Austin, USA which are awarded to young potential financial analysts wishing to have career entry in the investment and financial field.
Within 11 years living in the United States, he has gained 2 years of experiences working for an equity investment fund where he managed the stocks within the IT sector. His expertise in valuation and equity management has turned into the outstanding growth of the stock values under his management, even during the 2008-2009 financial market downturn. He also worked as a corporate finance analyst for more than 4 years, evaluating new project proposals.
Currently, he is working in the Economics and Markets Analysis function in Techcombank. Before that, he is responsible for managing bank-wide USD liquidity position of Vietinbank. One of the most crucial skills in banking is to build econometric models to predict market trends and have been applied successfully in his banking experiences
He is passionate about enriching the learning experience of FTMS CFA students through integrating vivid industry examples and useful tips of his own into the lectures.
